Well i have finally done it and pulled the old blank canvas out and decided to bite the bullet and finally done it, i didn't realise how easy it all came together, and i have to thank Kelsey who is a huge inspiration too me, and she shows how to put together a canvas on her blog which is http://ko-ok.blogspot.com/ very talented lady make sure you take a look at her blog if you haven't already. Here is the canvas and i have made this for a male friend, he loved it of course,
but probably because it has boobs on it.....lol

And now some atc's i have been working on this one is a transfer and after using lots of different ways from doing transfers from packing tape to sheer heaven, i have found my favourite which is sheer heaven it is quick, easy and almost full proof, i bought the sheer heaven from scraptactivate, here in Perth and just used my printer to print out and image onto the rough side of the paper, and bought some rubbing alcohol from the chemist, on another site it says to use 60% not 90% but i bought the 90% alcohol and didn't have a problem, put it into a spritzer bottle ( i just used an old hairspray container) which i collect as you can mix up your dyes and don't have to discard. spray a good mist over the image, turn face down and rub the back with a bone scorer i didn't have one of these so i just used one of my rub on pop sticks and this worked just as well.

This next one is the credit card technique just used the paint scraped down with a credit card then stencilled some yellow paint a bit of art chix stuff which always looks good on anything you put it on, and voila! The one below is just a quick black and white card using white gel pen to made a border and some left over white rubons. this is a good way

to get rid of those letters that you don' use very often, as you can see i have used q, j etc, i have found with most of my rub ons now i can hardly make up a word as all the vowels and comment letters have been used up , i knew there was a reason why i didn't throw them out, actually i don't think i ever throw anything away ( that's why i cant walk into my craft room i guess...lol

Hi Michelle, great first canvas, I too got inspired by Kelsey and had a go a one. Love your other stuff too.
Cheers!
Hello Michelle. I got your email from the yahoo group (inkjet transfers) so far I have only used Lazertran and I also tried the Golden gel transfer technique but I didnt like the plastic feel it left on the surface of my paper so I dont think I would use that again. I am just about to get some paint thinner to transfer some images (photocopies) into a blank book I have, I hope it goes well and will probably post some picturesin my blog and document the accompanying ups and downs and hopefully sucesses.
